About

A famous guy once said philosophy begins with wonder. I believe all humans have it in them to experience wonder at the mysteries of the universe. It is encoded in our architecture  hence the title of this blog.

In fact, it is not for lack of curiosity and thirst for knowledge that we, as a species, have dwelt in ignorance for so long. Rather it is because of a weakness in our critical faculties, revealed by our attraction to easy answers.

Myths and legends are science in embryo: the questions were right, but the answers were too easy. “Thus the myth-lover is in a sense a philosopher, since myths are composed of wonders” (source).

This blog is a refuge for the inner Bayesian. It is a place for experiencing our native wonder without succumbing to the temptation for quick and easy explanations.

Let us first ask interesting questions and then worry about the answers.
